Cafe Weberhaus in Kaufbeuren

I was there today to pick up cake. Unfortunately, this pastry shop is not up to date! I am very disappointed because when we asked they couldn't tell us a cake that was made without animal gelatine. In times of a vegetarian or vegan diet, no longer acceptable! Quite apart from the fact that my guests cannot eat anything. The pluralism of our time has probably passed this pastry shop. I was really deeply ashamed of so much intolerance! You should urgently change that!

Top confectionery with its own production, also its own pralines, biscuits, cakes, café and small dishes at the same time, all redesigned in 2020 with a wonderful view of the city center. Traditional pastry shop on the Webereck for several generations.

A traditional cafe in Kaufbeuren. The cake or tart was very tasty and is made in the in-house pastry shop. Very friendly service. Update: Since the renovation, I find it even more comfortable. The coffee is very strong and aromatic, the cakes are good as usual. The staff were extremely friendly during my visit today, even though I only arrived 40 minutes before the café closed.

No recommendation. Inside and out, this is a pretty upscale shop, at least that is what it is supposed to be. The service, however, was disinterested and unfriendly, the food was completely overpriced and not worth the price. A friendly gentleman with a dog, who had already taken a seat inconspicuously and not at all, was turned away by the staff from the café (dogs are not allowed!), And I overheard the employees talking about who was sending him out. Overall not recommendable, visit the extremely friendly, much cheaper café and bistro "Gabriella", the food is fresh and delicious!

One of the nicer cafes (on the ground floor) in the town of Kaufbeuren, which looks a bit shabby in many places. The offer includes delicious cakes and cakes, homemade pralines and ice cream. The upper floor is creepy for my taste - like stopped in 1958.

Very bad service. First we were told that everything has nuts, which is very unusual for a cafe and just doesn’t cater for everyone. The server was cold and not at all understanding of my allergy. I have never in my life visited a cafe where there is no food for nut allergy sufferers. Furthermore, all the servers were rude. One of my acquaintances found the cheesecake was tasteless.

Great bad service, First you have to wait 10 minutes until you are even noticed (We sat in there) then it takes another 5 minutes until you can order your drinks. After we ordered breakfast, the chaos took its course. Orders were taken incorrectly, we kept waiting forever for the food, something was missing. Something like that doesn't work. Absolutely not to be recommended. That was the first and last time.

That really can't be true. Totally missed nothing checked constantly brought the wrong one and it took FOREVER no thanks

You really couldn't eat the cake, and we didn't like it at all. In addition, the cake costs 95 €. Nobody can eat it. It sucks.

Retro at its best, also the food. Great choice of breakfast and lunch. Nice friendly service and retro decor. In summer you can sit outside. In the middle of the old town.
